「小小翻译 · 文献精读翻译器」（以下简称“本插件”）尊重并保护用户隐私。本政策说明本插件如何处理你的数据。
1. 我们处理哪些数据
- 你主动选中、用于翻译的文字：当你在文档中划词翻译，或在对话框中提问时，这些文字会被发送到我们的服务器，再转发给第三方翻译服务（DeepSeek）以生成译文。
- 一个匿名的安装标识（installId）：本插件在你的浏览器本地生成一串随机字符，用于统计每日翻译次数、实施免费额度。它不包含你的姓名、邮箱或任何可识别个人身份的信息。
2. 我们不收集哪些数据
- 我们不收集你的姓名、邮箱、账号、位置或任何个人身份信息。
- 我们不读取、不上传你打开的整篇文档。文档的解析与渲染完全在你本地浏览器中完成；只有你主动选中的那部分文字才会被发送用于翻译。
- 我们不将你的数据用于广告、画像或出售。
3. 数据如何被使用与留存
- 选中的文字仅用于实时生成译文。我们的服务器不以可读形式长期存储你的原文或译文。
- 翻译请求会传输给第三方服务 DeepSeek 进行处理，其数据处理遵循 DeepSeek 自身的隐私政策。
- 安装标识与每日次数计数存储在我们的服务器，仅用于额度统计。
4. 第三方服务
本插件使用 DeepSeek 提供翻译能力。你选中的文字会被发送至 DeepSeek 处理。请参阅其隐私政策了解详情：platform.deepseek.com。
5. 数据安全
翻译请求通过 HTTPS 加密传输。翻译服务所需的密钥保存在我们的服务器端，不会下发到你的浏览器或插件中。
6. 你的选择
不主动选词或提问，就不会有任何文字被发送。卸载本插件即可停止一切数据处理；本地的安装标识也会随之移除。

“XiaoXiao Translate” (the “Extension”) respects and protects user privacy. This policy explains how the Extension handles your data.
1. Data We Process
- Text you select for translation. When you select text to translate or ask a question in the chat box, that text is sent to our server and forwarded to a third-party translation service (DeepSeek) to generate the translation.
- An anonymous install identifier (installId). The Extension generates a random string locally in your browser, used to count daily translations and enforce the free quota. It contains no name, email, or personally identifiable information.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, account, location, or any personal identity.
- We do not read or upload the full documents you open. Parsing and rendering happen entirely in your local browser; only the portion of text you actively select is sent for translation.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale.
3. How Data Is Used and Retained
- Selected text is used solely to generate translations in real time. Our server does not retain your source text or translations in readable form.
- Translation requests are transmitted to the third-party service DeepSeek, whose processing follows DeepSeek’s own privacy policy.
- The install identifier and daily counts are stored on our server only for quota purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The Extension uses DeepSeek to provide translation. Text you select is sent to DeepSeek for processing. See their privacy policy: platform.deepseek.com.
5. Data Security
Translation requests are transmitted over HTTPS. The API key required for the translation service is stored on our server and is never delivered to your browser or the extension.
6. Your Choices
If you do not select text or ask a question, no text is sent. Uninstalling the Extension stops all data processing; the local install identifier is removed with it.
